OLIVIA SIMMONS

Olivia is a recent graduate of the Masters of Social Development program from the University of New South Wales, Australia. She also holds an Undergraduate degree in Asian and International studies from the University of Western Sydney, Australia.

In her work with Australian NGOs, Olivia initiated and contributed to programs in conservation, marketing, fundraising and development. She was the founder and chair of a cross-cutting issue working group on the environment and contributed to groups on education and disability. Olivia worked on development projects in Western Sydney with refugees, independence movements and social justice groups. Olivia is committed to community development through empowerment and education.
