Overview
This conference is literally open to everyone but
participation will be based on an INVITATION issued to conference applicant
confirming their reservation. Preference will be given to civil society
activists and individuals involved in democracy and human rights work on
Cameroon. All participants must fill out the registration form as completely
as possible to maximize their chances of invitation for the conference.
Registration
It is worth mentioning that there has been a high degree of
public interest demonstrated already for this conference. But due to the
limited number of space available, we are requesting individuals who want to
participate at this conference to register as soon as possible. Conference
space will be allocated on a first registered, first served basis. You can
register for the conference by
ONLINE Registration or by
MAIL-IN
Registration.
Financial
Support
PICAM is not providing any financial assistance for
conference participants at this time. PICAM is still discussing funding
options with various partners and if such funding becomes available, it will
be allocation based on the priority needs of the conference. Individuals
planning to attend this conference should ensure that they can handle all
the financial burden of their participation. Participants are also
encouraged to seek available support from their organizations or other
outside sources of funding.
International
Participants
This conference is open to individuals from around the
globe. Participants that will require a US visa to travel for the conference
must so indicate in the Comment/Suggestion section of the
registration form in order to have a LETTER OF INVITATION issued for that
purpose. Visas are the discretionary prerogative of the United States
Government and it is the responsibility of each potential conference
participant to satisfy the requirements for a US visa. Besides issuing a
Letter of Invitation, we will not assist any participant in the visa
application process in any other way. Please contact your local US consulate
or embassy for visa information. |
