PICAM staffs work on a
daily basis to identify the most considerate challenges facing the
Cameroonian society and its people.
To elevate these issues of national challenge to the forefront of public
policy debate in Cameroon, PICAM issues Position/Policy Statements to
influence public policies and actions in ways that address the common good of all
Cameroonians. PICAM hopes that the issues propagated in its Position
Statements will reflect the most considerate challenges facing the
Cameroonian society.
PICAM does not pretend to have or provide solutions to all the problems that
plagues Cameroon. Rather, our Position Statements are geared at raising the
necessary questions and bringing significant issues to the public arena for
discussion, while committing to the strategies necessary to influence
appropriate actions or needed changes.
Our Position statements reflect issues pertinent to our five main programs
in human rights, democracy, peace building, development and humanitarian
assistance.
