SUMMARY
CCDHR
is dedicated to the building of a strong civil society on
the conviction that this is critical for the democratic transformation
needed in Cameroon. Since its inception,
CCDHR has
positioned itself as a foremost advocate of social justice and the rule of
law in Cameroon.
CCDHR activities are aimed at influencing public
discourse on issues of democracy, human rights, freedom from socio-political
and ethnic conflicts, civic engagement, good governance, public
accountability, access to education, drinking water, housing and basic
healthcare.
The volunteer descriptions are meant to be generic
descriptions and represent the minimum qualifications and responsibilities
for all interns. Individual programs may arrange with interns to their adapt
internships in ways that would better achieve the objectives of a program
based on the specific needs of the program.
Our volunteer opportunities offer extreme flexibility for
individuals who need to volunteer with civil society organizations on their
spare time. All written documents prepared by volunteers during their
engagement with
CCDHR shall become the property of
CCDHR and the copyright will be
maintained as such. Volunteering with
CCDHR presents an opportunity to
enhance your research ability and capacity for independent work.
