"How good and pleasant it is,

for brothers and sisters to dwell together in unity" (Ps. 133:1)

OUR IDENTITY

We, the participants of the Presbyterian Immigrants Coalition (PIC), are members of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Togo (EPCT), living in the United States. From September 15 to 16, 2012, members of the EEPT residing in the US gathered in Sharon Hill, PA, at Tully Memorial Presbyterian Church to get to know each other. They were from Pennsylvania, Illinois, Michigan, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware. This first meeting enabled the participants to develop a national network and lay the foundation for a nationwide coalition gathering them in one entity and under one leadership. So the creation of the Presbyterian Immigrants Coalition was initiated. We are not a congregation or an organization of the EPCT in the US. We are a community of Christians who acknowledge our roots in the EPCT but believe that in a relationship with other believers, we can grow and serve God in love, tolerance, and compassion abroad and home. Many of the Coalition's participants are ordained pastors, lay pastors, elders, deacons, and members of the EPCT and the Presbyterian Church USA, our host denomination in the USA.
